If you pick up the Summer 2018 copy of Tangents magazine, a publication of the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts (ASMSA), you might see a familiar face. Mrs. Judy Bone, Des Arc High School science teacher, is featured in the Advanced Mentorship article beginning on page 12. Mrs. Bone is one of 14 teachers from across the state that participated in ASMSA's Advanced Biology Plus cohort this past year. The program offered professional development through summer camps and sessions held during the fall and spring. The meetings were led by ASMSA instructors.
