The Des Arc Lady Eagles played in the 2A Girls Basketball State Tournament Semi-Finals on Saturday, March 7, 2020. Although the Lady Eagles lost to the Melbourne Lady Bearkatz, they had a very successful season. They placed 2nd in conference, district tournament, and had a season record of 22-9.

Congratulations ladies on such a great year!!!

taking 2nd place in the 2A-5 North District

Championship game against Pangburn.

Bailey Devore (Soph.) - Bass Clarinet: 4th chair Region IV 2nd Honor Band, Alternate ASBA All-Star Band

Mattie Davis (Jr.) - Clarinet: 25th chair ASBA All-Star Band

Congratulations to senior Caleb Jobe for being selected

as one of the top athletes in the state to play in the

Arkansas All-Star football game. Caleb was a standout

two way player for the Des Arc Eagles this football

season. He was selected as an All-Conference and

All-State player for the 2019 football season. Coach

Tyler Paschal commented "He is a great student on

and off the field." Way to go, Caleb!

The Arkansas All-Star football game will take place this

summer in Conway.


The Des Arc Eagle Eye Archery Team placed 1st in their Regional Tournament in Cabot

on February 8th. This honor qualified the team to participate in the State Tournament in

Hot Springs on Friday, March 6th. Congratulations and good luck at state!

1.) Missing 1 day every 2 weeks totals 4 weeks per year.

2.) Missing 10 minutes per day equals almost one full week of instruction per year.

3.) Two absences per month is considered chronic absenteeism, leading to missing 10% of the school year.
