Information regarding the 2019 Rural Electric Youth Tour is presented at the left.

The contest is open to any high school junior who will be a senior next year and who is attending one of the schools within Woodruff Electric's area of service, including any high school in the counties of Woodruff, Cross, St. Francis, Lee, Phillips, Monroe, the town of Des Arc and home-schooled students whose parents are members of Woodruff Electric.

The Rural Electric Youth Tour is part of a national program involving 37 states and 1,800 participants. Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation and the 17 electric distribution cooperatives sponsor the Arkansas group. All expenses are paid including meals and lodging. There will be two winners selected by Woodruff Electric from its service area. The Arkansas group, approximately 44 students in all, and their six chaperones will travel to Washington, D.C. on June 14 and return to Little Rock on June 20.
